VILEN started DJing in 2007 at R&B parties and later moved into house in its many styles. He has played in 14 cities across Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Thailand and, as a promoter, has put on more than a hundred parties with headliners. Today he is a resident at SENATE in Batumi.
In 2016 he began studying scratch with world champions and went deep into turntablism. His reference point is A-Trak, a DMC champion who also plays house in the best clubs of Ibiza. VILEN doesn’t stick to one subgenre. What matters to him is energy, honesty and technique.
He has performed as the live DJ at ONYX, Gio Pika and FAME concerts and opened for ONYX, CeeLo Green, Jeru the Damaja, Aigel, Nedry, Lovanda, Long Arm and Volac. He is an ambassador for the DJ Go record pool and took part in the launch of Phase by MWM.
Since 2020 VILEN has been teaching DJing. He likes getting into the details and teaches on any setup, from vinyl and CDJs to controllers, in Serato, rekordbox, Traktor, djay or VirtualDJ, and in any style from house to drum & bass and funk.
